Initially, the company started off selling ready readers – reading glasses bought as and when needed.

This was followed by the emergence of INY-Sunwear, a collection of sunglasses.

Between 1999 and 2003, the company moved in to new premises in Volksdorf.

They opened up a new branch of their business focussing on lenses.

Between 2007 and 2009 I NEED YOU reading glasses introduced three new brands of lens and presented at a number of major optical fairs around Europe.

They also introduced FLXXreader – ready readers crafted from memory material with highly coated lenses, to offer a high quality of eye wear.

I NEED YOU reading glasses began to expand quickly in 2010 and 2011, agreeing partnerships with distributors in France, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
